The National Meteorological Service of Belize is the leading governmental authority on weather, water and climate. It provides meteorological, hydrological and climate-based products and services to the Belizean public through systematic and accurate monitoring and data collection, reliable data analyses and timely dissemination of user-friendly information on regular and emergency events and processes.

The primary functions of the SIB are to collect, compile, extract, analyse and release official statistics pertaining to the demographic, social, environmental, economic and general activities and conditions of Belize on an impartial basis and in accordance with professional standards and ethics.

The Central Bank of Belize is modeled on the Bank of England and its functions include providing banking services to the Government of Belize and financial institutions, issuing the domestic currency, regulating commercial banks and other financial institutions, providing economic advice to the Government, conducting research and publishing information on monetary and other economic developments.

The Protected Areas Conservation Trust (PACT) is an environmental trust fund serving an enabling and empowering role in the conservation, preservation, enhancement, and management of Belize's natural resources and protected areas. Through a strategic, clear, equitable and flexible, and transparent process of grant making for all projects, PACT supports the involvement of large and small organizations to implement programmes and projects which enhance the quality of life for Belizeans and Belize's role as a world leader in environmental conservation while supporting national developmental goals.

The Belize Tourism Board is a statutory body within the Ministry of Tourism, which represents a strategic partnership between government and the private sector to develop, market, and implement tourism programs that will fulfill the emerging needs of our local industries and the international tourism marketplace for the benefit of Belize and Belizeans.
